On the 1st of January 2017 and in the realm of data, Peculium was established under its parent company “Upsilon Data”. In March 2018 and after a successful ICO, we have launched our first product called “AIEVE” that stands for Artificial Intelligence, Ethics, Value, and Equilibrium. The Alpha version of BeliEve was launched in September 2018. By late February, the Beta version BeliEve (the fully automated real-time trading version based on AIEVE-forecasts) has completed successful 7500 trades with over 99% fill and completion rate in 6 weeks. BeliEve was able to generate approximately 3% profits in the first month. The profits were distributed to the early testers of BeliEve.
Since the beginning, we wanted to go beyond “providing an investment opportunity” and “providing a typical savings plan”. Peculium and AiEve have been developed to revitalize the world of savings inclusively based on blockchain economy..
Why we are doing this final Upgrade and move to a new smart-contract ?
Today we announce that, on March 02nd 2019 the PCL-Token will move to a new smart-contract. With the new contract, we will consolidate official Peculium controlled funds, foundation addresses, and release the complete control of the tokens to the users by removal of the freeze-function. The new contract will decrease the size of the contract by trimming it down; therefore, decreasing the gas requirement. These upgrades will help us tremendously to comply to the requirements by the biggest exchanges around the world.
Upgrade Details
As a PCL- holder, what do I have to do to upgrade my PCL?
- If you hold your tokens on an ERC20 wallet
(Ledger, Trezor, MEW, Metamask, Trust, Mist, etc.)
Perfect, you are ready to go. No action is required on your side. You will automatically receive the new PCL token to your private wallet in a ratio of 1:1.
2. If you hold your tokens on exchanges like HitBTC, Hotbit or even decentralized exchanges
We urge you to withdraw your tokens to your own address before the snapshot is taken.
We are in the process of negotiating exchanges if they will support the snapshot and distribution of new-PCL based on the token balance held on the exchanges. In the worst case, we will attempt to issue tokens when old-PCL is withdrawn from the exchanges. The safest option is to withdraw to your private wallet (where you hold your own private key).

- Snapshot will be taken March 02nd, 2019 at 09:30 am UTC.
- The distribution of new PCL in 1:1 ratio will start the same day.
All PCL that are on private wallets at the time of the snapshot will receive new PCL automatically.
- In order to get the new PCL-token distributed automatically, make sure to withdraw your actual PCL-token from the exchange-wallets to your private wallets before the snapshot is taken.
